Re: Tooly Vision

Thanks guys! I've spent along time dreaming about being able to pick one of these things. Sign in and rate it when you get a chance.

I could, but where is the fun in that? I started that PRIMUS thread in high sec with all the info needed for you guys to figure out the method. Maybe get a little think tank discussion brewing, you know?

Yeah, took me a few days to mull over whether I was comfortable just blurting it out. I'm still not sure about posting the picking vid of the other lock where I talk about the tensioner, but once someone figures it out there will be no reason not to.

Did you hear the thump? That was me bashing my head on the underside of the counter and dropping my pins. I really need more practice pinning

Re: Tooly Vision

Great video Tooly, IC cores are some of my favorite. Do all Sargent cores have the control pins as the two middle ones? I am not sure, but I don't believe I have picked one of these. That info is good to know though, thats a first for me. Some locks are easier than others to pick to the control line versus the operating line, in a lockout business either one will do I guess, but you have to know what way to tension these for the outcome that you want. Thanks for the info!!!

Re: Tooly Vision

Ok, I have a rare one for ya today. I made the 10 minute time limit, without all the extra commentary. So, I had to split it into two parts. The end of part1 is Kokomo getting gumballs out of the dispenser, then I say something about the sidebar pins. The beginning of Part2 is that same few seconds so you know it was one take that YouTube wouldn't let me upload. Less than 10 minutes picking, but overall it's a long one @ 16 minutes. Honestly, I haven't even watched it yet...

Highlights: All of the unboxing in part 1, the Part 2 I switch to the successful CCW attempt @2:48. @3:55 I pick the standard stacks and 6:45 it's open.

Anyway, a HUGE thanks to FarmerFreak. That's right, I was serious! 8-) Better to take my chances on the high security unpickables than whatever nightmare these other ones have in store...

Re: Tooly Vision

And now you should completely understand why I sent you that Primus cylinder. It is still impressive that you can pick it counterclockwise (blind) that fast. But getting that thing clockwise takes a little practice. ;)

I hope you've been having some fun with the other stuff too. ..muahahaha.... :D
