Sargent LFIC
6 pins

I would like some ideas on how to put tension on the control sleeve? as there is no place for a wrench to grab as there is in a Best SFIC.

Re: .45Cals videos

You can always put tension on the lug directly with your finger. The only solution I can remember seeing for a lock where you couldn't reach the lug was a tension wrench with epoxy on the tip inserted into the keyway carefully and bonded to the control sleeve. It would definately work, but I wouldn't recommend it if you ever want your key to enter the lock again. Not very much help.

Off to youtube to rate!

Schlage 6 pin I-Core
The small metal piece I put in the bottom is to bypass the check pin of the Everest system.

Nicely done. Had any luck with the control line on the Sargent LFIC?

Re: .45Cals videos

How did you figure that out? Do you have to pick it back closed (are the drivers in the plug now?)? Great job! 5* all day long!

No the drivers are too big to fall into the plug you can simply rotate the plug back into locked position after extracting it.

A 7pin Best I-Core picked to the control line accidentally. I think my pick is too big for the shallow cuts in the operating line.

Re: .45Cals videos

This is an exciting video for me. This is the first time that either Keys or I have picked a Medeco on camera. This is also the first time I have used my new pick and Medecoder both designes I learned on these boards! (sorry the video is so long but I had just built the medecoder 5 min earlier and had to figure it out)

5pin Medeco Biaxial With sidebar in place.
