4 pin static medeco

First off: Everything after 1min 30sec in the vid is fumbling with post picking disassembly, and I know it is filmed upside down.

I have been making tools again  It started with an eyeballed tensioner, but has already yielded new design.

The 4th pin was a standard driver in case you were wondering. The next time I will be more prepared for disassembly, and not bang on the desk as much. I wouldn't have posted this vid, but it took me an eternity to upload. More medeco picking convo!

Nope, it's just more of my homemade junk. The resemblance was unintentional, but I became jaded by his sweet pick photos and just couldn't shake it off this time.

I actually posted 2 pictures 6 days ago. I guess people aren't checking that continuous homebrew thread. Maybe it's time to kill it. I never liked the name anyway... The other photo may be better, but I think this one is more dramatic.

Because of the time involved I probably won't make something like this too often, but I do have some other designs on the way that I'm sure you'll get a kick out of awol.

Thanks for the input guys. I know it's been done before with more complete locks, but I had to get in on the action with something.

Nice picking! How thick is the body of the hook you are using?

I could say the same to you. If by body you mean the handle, then most of it is between 8 and 10mm at it's thickest. It gets as small as 4mm where it's thinnest just after the 2nd pin and before the quarter moon. That's looking down on it, not the profile like I pictured. Is that what you were asking?

Yes, that is exactly what I was asking.
