Re: Jruther2's Lockpicking Vids

I made a mistake in my first video and this is to set the record straight. The operator key NOT the control key has deeper cuts at 3 and 4 causing pins 3 and 4 to raise up into the control lug when the control key is inserted and enable it to rotate. Sorry for the blunder.

Helluva pick, J! Personally, I wouldn't put a handle on it. It's beautiful without it. Besides, handles on picks just reduce the pick/pin feedback necessary for spp.

Thanks man! I'm thinking that if I put a handle on it will be metal, not thick just enough to keep it from digging into my fingers for those long Medeco sessions. I've never had a pick with a big handle but I've heard several people say the same thing about losing feedback.

Thanks. Are you talking about the pick I used on the Squire? If so, it was a pick made by RangerJ03 (JO377 on yt). I think he used drain snake for that one but he'd have to confirm that. The handle is made of sculpy, he did a yt vid on how to make the handles. He's a very talented guy! He made me a set of picks and they are the best I've ever held in my hands! I highly recommend his stuff!

Thanks brother.

Yeah thats Titan Augers flat pipe cleaner. Hard to find but Waxman still carries the item. The closest thing to it would be Klein depth finder. great stuff for spring steel picks.
