Tooly, the SC4 is basically just a scaled down version of the SC1 right? If so, that's what's in that friggin kryptonite I got today and yeah it's pretty tight... small, too. Just the way I like it.

yep, remember that Dexter lockset that I posted on here a while back, a KW1 fits it just a little long and loose I believe.
I have been in the souls of many women, but I always end up on the soles of there shoes.

The SC4 is a 6 pin SC1. It's the same keyway. I don't know about your Kryptonite. I'll have to look again, but most of them are an American lock keyway.

I remember it. Yale and Lockwood both have similar keyways as well. It's an advantage of the larger size, that a perfect hook for a Y1 can't be the perfect size for a KW1. More space to work, or the same space... is it better to have more distance between keypin sizes, or an advantage to have less distance to consider?...

I kind of see what your saying, I don't know! When I see a keyway with more room in it though, it makes me feel more confident than if I have to pick a lock and it's so tight I have to use a slimline in it.

Hmm... the one in the kryptonite I got is a 6 pin, and it's also the same shape as the SC1 but it's noticeably smaller. Maybe about 3/4 the size, if not a little less. To the laboratory!
