i enjoy ryan renolds movies. but the comic movies need to not use the same actors for different charactors. like reynolds was and will be DEAD POOL, and the human torch actor is going to be someone else.

id rather things be like this, than having 7 different batmans, a now 3 supermen (when the next sup movie comes out) and now their going to make another spiderman movie, a pre-adulthood spiderman, remaking how he got his powers, with a different actor. WHY, the fucking movie was made like less than 10 years ago. why re invent the fucking wheel every god damned year?

Pretty much what I was thinking when I heard of it. Ryan Reynolds is a much better fit for Deadpool, but I can excuse the Green Lantern because at least it's in a different universe. Chris Evans is inexcusable, he's playing 2 guys in the same universe! True, Marvel has much better selection of heroes, but a few titles really turned me on to the Dark Knight. Ever read JLA: New World Order, JLA: Tower of Babel, Batman: HUSH, or any of Frank Miller's stuff (The Dark Knight Returns)?

i quit reading DC when i was 12. dont get me wrong, batman is the fucking shit! but he lost his luster with all the stupid sequals after batman returns. and DARK HORSE started picking up their titles, it just got really cammy and lame. And that was the golden era for marvel to me, cause they had the XMEN cartoon on that was in sinc with the currently running XMEN comic series. and wolverine was getting his adamantium fucking ripped out while frank miller was doing batman. it was a good time to read comics in the late 90s, but Frank miller was all dc had at that point. Then at that time, Image came into play. that was like marvel on steriods. who wants to read a stupid hawkeye or wonderwoman comic when you can fucking read Spawn and Pitt! so i have much respect to the JLA, and frank miller titles, never even heard of WATCHMEN till the movie came out, i was lost in Marvel for all those years.

I dont have the money to collect alot of comics. so collect 1. I have every wolverine comic ever published except for 8 of them. 2 from the first series of 4. 5 from the third series, and 3 from the 4th series. Wolverine has just started back at issue number 1 like 3 months ago. its a good time to start collecting wolverine, cause you can actualy keep up with the story, thats why they when from 189 years ago to #1. the story sucked so bad they had to start all over, and now, they didnt even get to 100, they had to start all over again.

but i have a decent selection of Deadpool and Punisher as well.

ps. there is roomer that all the spidy, captain americas, wolvies, will pick up at the number they should be. they are going to eliminate all the spinofs and go back to the original numbers.

example.

captain american went to 400 or some shit. then for 2 decades, there are 5 or more different stories going on at the same time, very confusing, but good for business. they are eliminating all the stupid extra stories and run offs, and calculating, "ok, he stoped at 400, we published 200 comics since then, so well start publishing 1 captain america from now on and start it at 600 cause thats where he would be if we hadnt fucked shit up."

interesting i think. its a good time to collect. except comics are 4.99 now! i think there should be a strike!!!!
