Chat On Index?

Would everyone like to see the tag board (chat box) back on the index page again?
If everyone wants it back just say the word and thou shall recieve.
And if it was wanted would you prefer it at the top of the page underneath the recent topics block or at the bottom above the who is online section?

Lew I never liked the tag board. I couldnt leave the KP main page up on my PC because everytime the tag board would refresh (seemed like every 5 seconds) it would make a clicking noise. I would always have to go into a subforum so I could get away from the tag board lol......I couldnt deal with the noise. I didnt find it very useful anyway because when you would try to scroll down and read things it would refresh and go back to the top of the board before you could finish reading anything. I think you know what I mean. Just my humble opinion.

I LOVED the tag board..I could practice my singing at night...the night owls that hung out at 1 or 2 AM know what I mean....
Oh, and I could post the notices of the people I banned...

Well if it does come back it will be completely different. No reresh noise and only the chat box itself will refresh and not the whole page.

I am thinking it would be alot better, seems that everything else has improved considerably. I say go for it!

We used to have a chatbox on our index page before Lew updated the site. It was just a little place where if we happened to catch somebody we could chat a little bit, or read song lyrics posted by Hallis as he went on some late night tyrant. Usually, had updated info of people that he had banned, or "swam with the fishes"

I hope it doesn't kill the IRC channel though... I've been enjoying talking to those who hang out in there...

The chat box predates the IRC channel and the two also co-existed for a time. It is also important not to forget that the chat box is part of keypicking and the IRC is an external site. 2 is better than one I say put up the box 2.0

Good point... the tag board was kinda cool actually. Nice for persistent quick messages...
