Ok guys there is now a new chat box added. New and fully improved.

I have a few things left to do it e.g exact colour blend and such but personally i think it is awesome.

Unlike the old chat box this only refreshes the chat box itself and not the page.
You also have the option to turn indication sound on or off.

I'm also working on a feauture that informs you if a new topic or post has been made. a little message will appear in the chat box while you guys are chatting away.

Yep. KP is seperate from the IRC channel. I set up the IRC channel for us guys to get together and have conversations in real time. I thought it would be a good way for people here to get to know eachother a little better. To bring us together as a stronger group. I think that part of it has been successful. I've gotten to know alot people by actually talking to them back and forth. I've said from the beginning that if the IRC channel takes away from KP I will shut it down. In my opinion that has not happened. I eventually want to get things to where we can conduct live video "workshops" where some of you old geezers (hehe) can teach us noobs a thing or two in real time. I just havent been feeling up to it with my surgery and all. I'll be back up to working status soon.

Piepie, I say this with all respect. You are kinda brave arent you? You do realize that .45 cal is a Mod right? I dont think I would be demanding things of him. You might want to be a little nicer about it. You dont have to be afraid of him. Just be a tad nicer about it. Just my opinion. Piepie, it is extremely important to me that we don't involve KP and the IRC problems with each other. They have the same common members, the few there actually is, and it WILL NOT pull down the integrity of KP or it will no longer exist, Riff and I said that from the very beginning. The IRC channel is for anybody that wants to hang out, there is nothing private about it, we limited the number of people that we invited to keep out spammers and hackers, a problem we had in the beginning. So far there is only ONE person on a lifetime ban, and YOU know who that is. SO anyway. I like the idea that Lew and Hallis brought the chat back here, the forum seemed like it was missing something, now it seems way more complete. Great work on the site improvements you guys!! A facelift always means longevity, and thats a good sign for such a great forum.

Ok new topic function added to the chat. Whenever someone posts a new topic a new message will appear in the chat so you can chat away and keep fully up to date with what is going on

Would you prefer it bellow the recent topic block as it is now or above?

Me personally would prefer it above......only reason being when im scrolling down using the mouse, it sticks on the chat index. Just me but maybe someone else noticed it too.
