A-1 Viper Pick Set

This is a new pick set I just received from Mark Bates and Associates, here is a link to the set http://www.mbausa.com/files/55391%20MBA%20Newsletter.pdf. This set looks exactly like the ones put out by Lockmasters and Dino, except for the red handles. I have the Lockmasters set and the Vipers pick material is stronger, I can't speak for the Dino set, I have not tried them. Feedback from the aluminum handles is very good. The set cost 30.00 dollars, and 3 of the picks I will never use so kind of a waste. The picks can be purchased separately from MBA but for 5.00 dollars each, but I would pass on them and go for some Sparrows or Petersons if you can afford them. The metal is stronger than the Lockmaster version, but it is not up to par with HPC or Peterson or Sparrows. Here are some pictures of the picks as they come in the set with case.

I have the same thing in blue. They say "Lockmasters". I believe they're made by Dino.

Re: A-1 Viper Pick Set

I have alot of respect for the people at A1, I have talked to Rodney there a couple of times and he is a nice guy and they are a great company. I would assume these are made by A1 correct? They are branded that way unless I am mistaken.
I have been in the souls of many women, but I always end up on the soles of there shoes.

I don't think A-1 makes them, just has their name put on them. Too many companies have the same ones with their names on them so I guess it is a cheap way to sell "your own" pick set.
