Re: Brasso for cleaning old padlocks

You know as soon as i read the word Brasso i had instant nightmare flashbacks. Anyone that has been in the U.S. Marine Corps will understand what i'm saying. So many hours in bootcamp polishing fucking brass fixtures with that damn shit...grr stuff of nightmares. Though i'm not under-minding its cleaning powers, works like a charm.

Re: Brasso for cleaning old padlocks

I have used some on some old door fixtures, the stuff does indeed work great, never tried it on locks though. I have use alot of fine steel wool, that works great as well.
I have been in the souls of many women, but I always end up on the soles of there shoes.

Re: Brasso for cleaning old padlocks

This post broke my heart. It took a few years to acquire that nice patina why remove it. I have a lot of locks and will wipe them off with wd40 only.

Sorry to jump in an old post but had to add my 2 cents.
