I'd love to try it. The pick is still available at Aldridge: http://www.aldridgesecurity.co.uk/p-514 ... coder.aspx

Wasn't there another version of this pick that didn't require the changeable heads? I got a Chubb AVA, I might stick it onto the list...

I'd love to see that, if you find it, hux

Check the aldridge link a little closer :

I have one of those picks and never could make it work.

Re: chubb ava tutorial

Hello guys,

This is so cool - thanks for posting it!
I have an old Chubb Ava 1971 brass padlock I bought - it hasn't made it out of the UK yet but soon I hope.
Darn, too bad the tool's discontinued as I would love to try and pick it. I bought it because those brass keys looks so darned cool just couldn't resist - can't wait to start poking around the 10 disc locking mechanism.

Any additional information or progress you guys make please post it for the rest of us. Given I am pretty much a novice picker I don't hold out hope in the short term of actual openings. However, I would expect markedly different results if say someone like, Hux, were try and pick it - hint, hint. ;)

Thanks for the great info.

Sean
