Can someone please provide me with pertinent information regarding tapping pinholes for serrated pins. I'd like to know things such as tap size, tap type, etc. And if possible to point me in the direction of an already existing tutorial on the matter.

Was thinking to link the exact same video. :) There are metric and SAE taps but I use I believe 6-32 which works well. I want to try a metric see if it will produce sharper cuts. Anyone know if it will?

Gleb...it depends on the thread pitch. If you used a 6/32 tap that is 32 threads per inch. A 6/40 tap is 40 threads per inch so it's finer thread.
I never use metric taps so I really don't know.
