Ok, so I recieved the lock today. I popped the shackle and removed the retaining screw. Then i removed the shackle and spring. This is all the further I can get. Ive tried sliding the case of both with and without the master key but no luck. Does anyone have any idea how to disassemle this? Ive found a picture of one disassemble but it didnt help me much. The picture is on antique-locks.com. I was going to post it here, but I wasnt sure if thats allowed.

Bumpin' this just to keep it in view. I still think someone will probably have
some insights that will help ya dig deeper. And if not, might just be wise to
leave well enough alone for... or dig deeper another day. Someday.

Ran across this thread in a Google search while doing some research and wanted to bring it full circle. Gut shots have been officially posted, albeit of a different lock .

While I'm sure the OP has moved on, these are disassembled by removing the screw in the toeside shackle hole, then driving out the pins holding the case to the body (in this case, the single pin also hold the clevis to the case)

One more addition (to address a previously posted idea)...

These cannot actually be shimmed from the front, despite appearances. Like the plug, the master ring sleeve is flanged, and wouldn't allow insertion of a shim.
