Hi, welcome to Keypicking.

You may want to specify what it is exactly that you do have. You would also be surprised at the quality of foreign locks. They far outweigh American products by a very large margin.

Also, feel free to introduce yourself

I'm thinking that about the only true all American made padlock on the market is the Commando.

What if it is an American company, but made in another country? Would that count as 'foreign crap'?

I have one of the only 2 remaining Sargent & Greenleaf Model 832 1987 military padlocks, prototype to the production Model 833, I only want $2500 US for it.

@drydog - in spite of all our teasing, it would help us tremendously if we knew what kind of locks you have, or are looking for.

I am sure that all of us know that you mean cheap garbage locks, of which the United States makes some, too. We are just having fun with not just you, but with each other as well.

Again, if you let us know what you have, by default we will know what you do not have. We are a welcoming community, but we can be rather odd. You should see the thread where someone wanted help on getting out an ignition switch, and everybody started answering in haiku poetry.

Once again, welcome. Drop by chat sometime! And let us know what kind of locks you already have, so we can tailor our answers to suit your desires.

Hope we didn't scare you away... but foreign locks (to America) are some of the most evil ones. :evilwing:
