$2.50 Pinning Mat Silicone

I found this silicone pot holder at tj max for $2.50 they had round and square in any color. Works great to hold screws and pins!

Maybe you should melt it down then make a new one from a mold.

I'll have to get one now, as I refuse to pay $40+ for a plastic mat that cost 50 cents to make, just because it's "special purpose". I like to find alternate uses for stuff too.

That is a great idea! A buddy's mom owns a bar and I've asked him to get me one of those small mats they use on the front of the bar as a more portable pinning mat.

you can sometimes find them under the gas pedals in a car too....

its easy to find some textured rubber or plastic that can be used,

that one is $2.50 and heat resistant too.....
