Re: Fiber Picks

I guess people pay the money for the ease of use factor. It says it will open just about any schlage or kwikset lock in under 60 seconds with no training. Might not be a bad thing to have if you don't get much practice picking, or if you have a really stubborn lock that wont budge with SPP.

Re: Fiber Picks Yes they actually work if you practise

I had a chance to try them ....... they didnt work for me.

This product has a terrible reputation on the net.

The guy I know that owned them was able to use them pretty effectively however.

Like many of these weird tools they are hard to learn to use and they
dont have any real advantage. Given enough time, practice and skill they
can be used to pick a lock.

Re: Fiber Picks

Being a newbie here, sorry my first post has to be a negative one. The fiber picks are nothing more than needles that the guy has glued fishing line into the eyes?!?! Over all quality -10 I've seen 12 year old kids turn out better looking picks with their daddys tools. For a tension tool you get a tension tool and a selection of fishing weights.

I was given this set as a present a couple years ago. It was kinda like Grandma giving you a hideous sweater! The worst part was keeping a straight face when I opened it.

If there's any interest, I'll try to find it and put up some pictures.

All told, save your money & get a HPC set even Chinese sets would be a better choice!
