Hi people just thought I'd share my two new picks which I made earlier, they were auto picks but I did'nt really use them, so I decided to make them more useful, and made them into MTL picks : ) They are a bit rough but they will do till I get a bit more time and some more materials to fab some better ones up : )

wiper inserts will work great but living in the uk i cant get my hands on thicker or wider inserts for some reason they are all thin : (

I need to pick one of those locks up, I haven't seen any around, maybe an ebay purchase in the near future. Try to make some picks for one. Where are these locks commonly found, I haven't seen any around here in the locksmith shops?

just picked up on this thread & you're right about the wiper blades
try engine dipsticks I find the steel very strong may be the fact it is in the
hot oil of the engine the stick I got was approx 5mm wide just under 1mm
thick I used it to make a bogata & it was so strong hope this helped

catch ya lata have fun..............................

Thanks Hallis, Those locks are a little spendy aren't they! When I get caught up I want to learn how to pick those, they do look like fun.

They are expensive as hell. But like a venereal disease - you have to experience it to appreciate it. A "must have" for any lockpicker/collector.
