Here are a few shots of my latest pick with a mastodon ivory handle. My last two picks are starting to reach a decent enough finish that I would feel comfortable making a few to sell. Anybody interested?

I was excited to see ya on the board this morning Escher!

As always, you don't disappoint. Those handles are fantastic. Just beautiful.

I'm also interested Escher but I'll have to wait until my "Fun Money" acct. is back up to more normal levels. PM with a price and I'll let you know when I can buy one of those beauties. (Might just shoot the moon anyway )

Like Violator and Ratyoke, I would feel guilty charging based on actual labour involved. $120 plus postage (from Canada) seems fair. Anyone interested should pm me with a pick style and handle material and I will make a pick and post a picture for approval. I make picks as my energy level allows so it will take a bit of time.
My mastodon ivory is getting low (maybe 2 or 3 picks left), but I have lots of ebony, macassor ebony, rosewood, marbled acrylic etc.
Here are a few handle samples:

Very nice work Escher, The tip of that first pick is perfect.

Some file work between the handles would be an added touch. I don't think I've done that on a pick yet .

Can't wait to see more

Thanks for all the interest. If $120 is too steep, I can probably do better with other materials/designs so feel free to let me know.
