two prong tension automotive

I don't have an automotive two prong tensioner such as you buy. almost all my picks are homebrew

I was asked to open an auto last week, and I tried picking the trunk, but it wasnt going well

I found a fondue fork, two prong thing and made it into the two prong tensioner very quickly with a single flat file, to reshape the inside of the two prongs and a plier to bend them 90 degrees, then I cut off the long end of the fondue fork

just sharing this in case anyone wants to make their own.

its not the springy kind, its just fitted to dimension

That's a great idea, I'd love to see pictures. Absolutely love all your homebrew, although I'm not positive you can call it that. More like rai's prototypes.
