Nice work.

They look like very comfortable handles and should look great once they are oiled up.

Re the comfort aspect. Try using a pick without a handle for 15 minutes then switch to one with a handle. You don't need to have old hands to appreciate the difference.

They seem to be quite comfortable, with the end resting in the palm of the hand. If this actually works out in practice is something we'll see in time.
