My homebrew pick complete

Hi guys here are some pics of my brass handled hook pick, it has inperfections, but so do i !. Its a copy of the jruther design (in that i used starret feeler gauge and JB weld). :smile:

imitation is the sincerest form of flattery,and that is a very good imitation.
(i wouldnt trade my JR's for anything..)

not sure, i ordered some brass bar off ebay, the more i polished it, it started to silver up a bit. :smile:

Thanks you very much sir! its taken me a longtime to put it all together, i never used the g10 in the end as the width was too thick, i will in the future tho. Thanks for all your tips and advice u gave me a while back. :smile:

wooo! nice one for that wiz buddy! i was trying sooo hard to get a genuine JR pick, but there not easy to come by! if u cant beat em join em eh?. (or at least try!) :smile:

you bet...( i recall it was damn near a year after i got started before i had even so much as HELD a manufactured pick..)

I just realized what I like so much about this pick. It's exactly like my last pick but with the materials reversed. :P

Well, that and you did a damn fine job on it.
