Minolta Maxxum 7D with a Minolta 50mm macro lens.

I use this light tent:

I was wondering what surface you were photographing on, and had suspected a light tent, but damn. That's a sweet setup. I don't know why I didn't just assume you photographed your own projects.

Artist, jewelry maker, and jimmy smith. Surely you have made yourself a set of picks recently, or are you still using those first ones? The off topic question persuaded me to ask another off topic question... Obviously you're not having troubles with the same old locks, so what is your favourite lock to pick?

haha. I am using Southord and lockpicktools.com picks. I haven't had time to make myself a set. I only have 2 picks I have made. The light blue half diamond I posted, has been taken apart to use as a template. And the 2nd pick I made, a short hook, I never got around to anodizing. But I don't like the shape of it so I don't use it.

I don't really have a favorite lock to pick. I'm not really picking anything advanced.

Anodizing aluminum is a process of creating a hard oxide layer on the surface of aluminum that can be dyed. It improves wear resistance, and looks cool when its dyed, though it doesnt have to be dyed.

Well, your's may not look as good but you don't have picks to look at them. I bet yours is at least as functional as ratyoke's picks.

A new one.
I just got a new tool so I could cut a slot for a partial tang.
The handle is one solid piece of zircote (a type of wood). Rivets are silver.
