Homebrew short hook handle needed!

I recently made my first homebrew pick. I used metal from a pair of stainless steel scissors. It turned out quite well. The metal is surprisingly strong. It's just as strong as my Southord Max 08 short hook. The only downside is it has a 3/8" hole where the rivet was to hold the scissors together. The handle is 1/8" thick. I'm drawing a blank when it comes to some ideas for a handle. I know wood would be challenging and I don't have the equipment to make one. Any ideas would be great!

I like G10 myself. I got mine here at knifekits.com (http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/index.php?cPath=40_218_311) but you may be able to find it cheaper somewhere else. Its not too difficult to work with. You can use loveless bolts to attach it or do like I've been doing lately and just use JB weld so the handle ends up being seamless.

I'd go with jruther2's advice on this one. Check out his post's here and YT vids mate, you'll be in pick making heaven.
