I have actually been selling my custom picks for about two months now. The only problem is that I ended up getting a bunch of orders at one time and am still not finished with them. Still fun to make these, though.

DeForest, after studying these a bit.

I received my Triad and I just have to say WOW! The pictures do not do these justice. I have not had a chance to pick anything with them, but they are absolutely stunning picks, a true work of art. The weight is nice and again the placement of the curves is right where it needs for a comfortable grip. I'll post an update when I stick them in a lock.
The middle one is the ebony, what are the other ones? I thought I heard you talk about spalted hackberry? Every pick I have received from you has been spectacular!!
Thanks again!
Ed

Yes, it has been two months. No, I have not given up pick making. I just had a tonne of shit to do between work, home life and house projects.
This is a custom pick made for someone who found me through Make magazine. He had me make the pick for his wife. Talk about cool gift, eh?
As always, let me know what you think. I still love to get honest feedback about my work so that I can constantly evolve and improve.

That is what I was going for. That was the best part of making the pick.

They really are works of art, top work mate. I will be checking out your site and may have to order a couple in the near future

This one is for Jay: DeForest/Offset Diamond with Amboyna Burl handle. I totally love working with Amboyna Burl. This type of wood is so aesthetically pleasing both to they eye and the nose. The high figuring in the wood is amazing and then you throw in the spicy smell of the wood, it really just does not get any better than that. I welcome your critiques.

Dopug, ChonkyTonks does a great job of crossing great looks with functionality. I have 5 of his picks and they all function great and are very strong. I know it is easy to look at them and think that they will easily break, but I can attest that mine have held up great over months of use.
ChonkyTonks, wonderful job on that deforest. Looks awesome!!
