Got around to making a dedicated dimple pick!

Hey guys,

I recently updated my last post with some pics of my picks. Well, I found the time today to bang out another one. And when I was done making the pick I made sure that it worked.

And that does it. BTW this was also the first time I ever picked a dimple lock and I got to do it with a pick I made, all in the same day (very rewarding).

God I love picking.

Happy Picking,
Whizdumb

Yep pretty sure it is, iseo only make a couple of dimple locks that I'm aware of... the other is the R11, and it definately ain't one of those lol. Dunno what the serrature thing is all about, the keys almost always have that on em but I'm not sure what it means.

Hey LSA, is that iseo the one I sent you last year? I'm happy if it's still around.
That's definitely an R6. The word serrature means locks, the factory is called ISEO Serrature.

Nice job Whizdumb, I like your pick!

Cheers :)

you might find that for dimple picks the flat handled while not really a handicap can be bested by more round handles, these are somtimes like hand pin vices that are often made of brass, but femurats bamboo would be very good for these.
I say that because a more full handle just works a bit better on this type of lock

however if you are carrying a set of popsicle handle picks for their flatness in the leather pouch that one works fine.

Not being hyper critical, but making a suggestion for next one.
