I picked it up from a flea market for $2. The short one on the end is a screwdriver for the dremel.

Good work...are the picks sturdy enough - or do they flex too much?
Re: Feeler Gauge Picks - Made with a Dremel.
They are pretty sturdy. I threw out the 5 or so thinest ones. They seem to work very well. I haven't had ne break yet. But if the skinnier ones don't hold up I'll just go buy another set and replace them with the thicker ones.

If the idea of trashing the thinner ones, or the thicker ones being too tight doesn't appeal to you... I know McMaster-Carr sells 1 ft, 10ft, and 25ft lengths of High Carbon Steel Feeler stock (1/2 inch wide) . From sizes .001" all the way up to .125"... Isn't that expensive to get a few feet of .025" stock, for something $1.22 each (less than 12) or $1.03 (12+)

With 12 feet of Feeler Gauge for $12.36 + shipping, not a bad price for more material than you'll be going through anytime soon.
So, there we go there's my 2 cents... Hope all that helps someone... I'll be making an order as soon as the boss clears it... (oh how my wife hates me to buy 'toys')
Enjoy,

Going to a car boot sale on Monday , so i hope to pick up either a feeler guage or some butter knives to play with , but i still have some drain snake segments waiting to be formed into picks .
Either way , i plan to make my own slot away set before too long .

I pretty much just buy the #420 metal cutting disks ($5) and the #408 sander. Plus I have a metal cutting shears and some basic files.
