Re: A new pick

So what exactly do you use to make your picks. Like, metal wise. I've heard hacksaw blades and stuff, but I don't really know.

Re: A new pick

there is a great video on youtube of someone using romstars templates and ink transfering them onto the hacksaw blade ready to grind

Just saw this thread... $15 dremel? :o
Damn that's a good deal!
Great work on the picks... you've inspired me to further explore possible wiper blade sources... junk yards or something... hmm...

Hey, USMC..have you tried Peterson's wave rake yet?
http://www.peterson-international.com/Individual_Picks/Spring_Steel/SpringSteel.htm

I've been using this for a few weeks now, but I gotta tell you, I'm not impressed with it. I assume it's supposed to be like a Bogota, but the peaks and valleys are kind of irregular. It's as if a Ripple Rake and a Triple Rake hooked-up and created a hybrid.

I can rake open more locks with a LP tools Euro Wave Jiggler than with the Peterson.

Anyway, double extra primo job on the homebrews - maybe a homebrew Bogota might be on your "To Do" list?
