My First Batch of Home Brew Picks.. Hope You Like Them

I pretty much spent all day making these. I haveta come up with an idea for some real handles.. I think I might try the paracord wrapped handles ( I got about 100 feet of that stuff layin around somewhere. I eyeballed everything so the tang bases are all little off on every one... once I get handles it'll all look better.. Well enjoy the Pick Porn.. Please give me some feedback (constructive criticism to improve myself) Thanks everbody

Couple of alternatives to paracord - plasti-dip, heat shrink tubing - or even wire wrapped.

Nice work on the picks - the shape of the tips is very nice. They should work good for you. Video is next.

.025 High carbon feeler guage stock from McMaster-Carr .. I have some stainless stock too (same thickness) but i won't make any picks with that stuff till I get a little better and figure out a decent handle to use.

Very nice looking picks.
Gotta make a bogota myself as the last one didn't come out too well.
Not as nice as yours, with the long nose on the end.

Good Job.

those are beautiful picks bro, if i didnt live in an apartment, i would take some notes from what you did, and do the same. take a note from tooly mcgees handles or ratyokes handles, either way, your picks are a total package. nicely done.

PM me a pick profile that you would like. I'll see if I can't get one out to you when I get to making them. I promise that when I make more picks, You'll be the first to get one. Not only that... but I'll probably let you pay me in locks.
