I personally use a piece of corrugated rubber mat glued to a piece of chip board. Lol
Works fine for me. I've got 3 or 4 of them floating around. Never was drawn to having something fancy. But that's just me ☺

Posted: Mon Mar 20, 2017 10:01 pmI would make the 3 plug holders face the other way and cut a slot through the base so that you can have a plug rested in the divot with the key inserted.
That way, it wouldn't be able to rotate. That's how I made mine. Unfortunately, no pictures and it's pretty beat up too after so many years of use and abuse.
Other than that, looks great!
