Good bye --- Old friend

Farewell old friend.

:wah: :wah: :wah: :wah: :wah:

You were not a snappy dresser but a warrior non the less.

When you were born the stars were perfectly aligned.

Together we fought the hoards of Lockwoods and slew them all.

Eventually, age and fatigue brought you to an end.

A noble end, battling your old enemy, Sir Lock of the Woods.

You won’t be forgotten.

Seriously, one of the joys of making your own picks is that every now and then one will turn out to be almost magical. It seems that almost imperceptible differences make the difference between a good pick and a magic wand.

I made this one about a year ago and it has seen a LOT of use and no I didn't use it as a lever. It just wore out.

Anyway, life goes on.

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to you all.

Re: Good bye --- Old friend

My condolences! lol. Really though, I know what you mean.

I have one that I will be sad to let go of some day. And although I'll
tryn' replicate it, just like you said.... it probably won't be the same.

Re: Good bye --- Old friend

That one special friend that does things for you so often. You feel that you have expressed your gratitude, but when that friend goes to that great pick place in the sky, it seems you never did fully appreciate it.
