Vacuum forming

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but thought you guys might like to see my first attempt at vacuum forming.
Someones got to find a lock related application for this:)

The first vacuum forming I did was trying to get a better fit of a leather holster I was making for a handgun. It worked well. Too well. Way too f###ing well. Had to cut apart the leather to get the handgun out. :D After that, I formed the leather by hand, as I used to do. :)

with a little trimming you have a custom dust cover ;)

Just need to make a removal lanyard so its not so hard to remove.
