Bottle opener/Pry bar

Hy guys,

I just wanted to show off my new multi-tool :-) I'm sure it's been done before but I haven't seen any.

That's a new one on me, using a bottle opener for that. I like it.

Love it.

I'm always looking at metal objects and thinking how I can modify them or if I can make a tool from them.

I might just make myself one of these.

Thanks for sharing.

I can see some difficulties if the locks in a door, but what the hell. Just put it in a vice and give it a 90 degree twist, eh?

Been trying to work out the make of that vice, but I can't.

Nice little tool 'cuda. Novel idea and if you get frustrated with the picking it's no trouble popping a cold one.

That's pretty awesome. I would love to snap the prybar tip off in an ASSA gently use it on a Kwikset.

Ya I'm sure there's some applications this wouldn't work in. Like a flush mounted lock. But so far all the door knobs, dead bolts, and padlocks I've tried it on work nicely.

Here's a pic of the vice.

Re: Bottle opener/Pry bar

Thanks for that, Barracuda559.

My bottle opener is only any good for opening bottles.

But I'll try not to be too sad about it.
