I recently bought one and have been trying to pick it, but I'm very new and was wondering how many spool pins it has and which pin #s they're in. I cant seem to tell yet so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Brinks is usually all spools. There are some great guides here on picking spools, thats how I learned, and some youtube videos. Once you have a false set it's all about taking your time and feeling for counter rotation. One of these times a light bulb will go off in your head while you are picking spools and you will just get it. Don't give up it will come.

Thanks that's good to know. I've been having my doubts too lol. I even ordered some peterson picks so I can get better feedback than my southord set. I'll stick to it and watch more videos and dig through this site. Thanks!

I would think that the southord hook should work extremely well, unless it won't fit. I use it in many locks over the expensive competitors. I think a big thing is the tensioning tools, some are better than others for certain locks.

Interesting I'll compare my Southord to the Peterson hook when I get it. Another thing is it doesn't have a grip or handle on it. I got the cheap set haha.

And thanks I'll watch and re-watch that video til I get it down!
