Foley Belsaw Lesson 7 TIP(impressioning a warded lock)

So i've got all the good tools for impressioning, key holder vise, and magnification, which i would advise at least the vise for this lesson to impressiong a warded lock.

TIP: if using a key holder do not put the bow/head of the key flush to the key holder.

I did this and my cuts be them ever so beautiful were a 1/4 inch off, I mean with warded you can just cut away some stuff and it will work, but the goal is to make a fitted key, so I try again, noting my error and made a perfect key in under 10 mins. The file they give is perfect for warded keys to, alll the others i have are two thick.

Hope this helps someone else who is taking the course or will take it in the future.
