Yes it is a Wally lock and its Awesome. for a medium sized lock its very heavy and well made. No security pins at all but it doesnt matter, Its still cool. yale key way too, it that common for wally locks?

As far as finishing the key up on your first one... it looks good to me. Slopes look nice and gradual.
And I'd imagine insertion & removal is pretty smooth? Same goes for these latest two. You've done
a great job on them! And props on that Hurd. I find they often use some extreme high and low cuts
which can really throw you for a loop sometimes. I've failed on more than one occasion with Hurds.

I tried with a chainsaw file and failed, fair play to you for managing. Once you get a smoother needle file, and maybee also chalk it for even finer cuts, you will see the impression marks the key pin leaves at the point where filing is needed. And when I say impressions I mean rub marks, not scratches. Get good light, and a magnifying glass.
Ive never tried marking blue, so not sure what marks would look like, for key pin marks, and impression marks that need filing.

You can use a chainsaw file! But then you want to take a small dowel and wrap it with 300 or 400 grit sandpaper to smooth out the cuts after filing. That is what I do when I am at work.

with the layout blue you will see shiny metal where the pins scratch the blue off (they tend to be faint little + marks if the pin is binding. and when is not binding there will not be the + but just a line from the key pins dragging across the top of the key)
