Sparrows American Bypass Tool Template

Made one with a Large office clip Straightened it out and kept the bent tip just shortened slightly and filed it down till it fit properly. The office clip lasted for about 5 or 6 uses and the thin filed tip broke off gonna try and make another out of different material
I attached photo of original tool on 1/8 inch graph paper over length of tool is 4.25 inches so you can get the other measurements using that.

Re: Sparrows American Bypass Tool Template

I tried everything, bike spokes, paper clips, coat hangers, and a few other things all didn't work. I just decided to man up and pay the 21 dollars to Peterson along with some other stuff that I bought. http://peterson-international.com/bypass.html

Yeah I tried the binder ring also like the youtube tutorial says also by the time you grind it thin enough it bends to shit. This here worked but was not worth the time invested as i promptly broke. but did last longer than wiper inserts and a hanger etc.
