Looking for Cut-aways by a board member.

Hi there,

I'm new to the boards, brought here by doing some research on cut away locks, that lead to a thread where a member named HiNtZ posted some gorgeous cut away padlocks (viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1688). In one of the threads he links to some of his work, but unfortunately the auctions he mentions are longe gone now.

Does anybody know the name of his ebay store, or where I can find a good cut-away version of padlocks such as the Abus 84/50?

Ebay most likely although cutaways are considered rare/uncommon. Be prepared to shell out some decent cash.

Re: Looking for Cut-aways by a board member.

Thanks, I went on ebay and found this uk-based dealer, called "two-lock" who's work looks very nice, and very affoardable I must say.

Only I'd like a lock with security pins (mushrooms, spool pins etc.), so that I can see what I'm doing wrong with the locks I have that are causing me problems.

Re: Looking for Cut-aways by a board member.

Now that you've both mentioned the price, just how much are we talking about here?

I know the locks themselves are about 20 USD here in DK, and I can only imagine that a lot of hours must go into a project like that, even with good training and proper tools, so right now I'm thinking they're worth it even if I have to save up for a while.
