Set up a tub of clear epoxy. Set the lock in it, and let it cure. The moisture will be kept away permanently!

Re: L0ckcr4ck3r's Cutaways

I gave up on keeping my shiny. I can't help myself. I pick it up every time I see it on the shelf
macgng; it's completely unnecessary to have ~15$ in keys for a 50¢ lock ... but we all do it anyway :P

Re: L0ckcr4ck3r's Cutaways

Unfortunately, handling them will speed up the process of tarnishing... just the acids in your skin and sweat. I recently started applying micro crystalline wax to them and although they don't shine as much, they look still look great after 3 months sitting on the shelf.

Was thinking I'd keep Houdini Lock Lube on hand and hit it with that from time to time ?

Just got my Emhart. Guys, you'd better get them while they last. This is impressive, to say the least.
