Grandpa's keys.

These keys were my Grandpa's, he was a collector of stuff like I am. I emailed someone on a collector's forum and was told they were blanks, but the guy that told me this wanted me to PAY HIM for the info, so I don't know how accurate it is.

Ok, any idea what kind of lock these would have gone to? (Obviously a warded lock of some kind) and how old could they be?

the end of one of the keys. Some look like "3", some like "5", and others just odd shapes.
pretty cool old keys, I only wish I knew where Grandpa got them.

Dom? Old mortise locks, most likely. I'll see if I can find the site that the chart came from.

Re: Grandpa's keys.

That looks like most of them! Didn't know Dom had been around that long either. Now if someone has a pic of the lock it would have went to, as most of my mortise locks are quite small.
