I bumped this up because I read the info on the guy in the link that has about 350,000 keys in his collection. He doesn't sell, but anyone wanting a really rare key like the Nix Pix might try him, as he does give them way occasionally.

Unfortunately, he died a few years ago. I googled his name.

My guess is a really big Brass Bin,
I remember getting 85 cents a pound for my brass a few years back
Of course I always like to toss some pot metal in there. The old deadbolt
re-inforcing rings from Kwikset are perfect, they don't stick to the magnet
the recycling guys use.
