Strange Corbin Russwin key

I found these 2 keys in with a bag of cut keys.. I have no idea what they are used for.
Sorry for the bad pics, its my phone.. lost the charging cord to the camera

Looks like a killer key. Insert it and then snap it off at the cut on the bottom then push it in the rest of the way. It blocks other keys from entering.

Thats what I thought at first but then I looked at the cuts, it would come out with a key extractor because the cuts are angled and not square on the forward side to make it stop against a key pin.

It is just temporary and meant to be removable. Probably to lock out somebody while the door is waiting to be rekeyed.

Like the design of the cuts. Was wondering if he found a FarmerFreak modified lock for a moment.

good answer riy, but it's not a slip key type of thing. It would be real hard to get out once it's SNAPPED off in there. A mortice might not be so bad, but a kil, or kin , it would suck
