Re: cheap key machine

I bought one from Key Sales & Supply, of course I paid a lot more, but when I saw it I sent it right back

Re: cheap key machine

It looks like a toy version of the one we have in our shop. It looks kinda sloppy , low build quality.
But most importantly , I can't see any adjustment settings. You need those.

These type of machines , from a brand name , go about 500-700€ used.
I think you would be better of with a used brand name machine and not bother with this one.

Re: cheap key machine

Yeah seemed like a too good to be true deal. Unless someone who actually uses one can convince me otherwise I'll save my money and invest in a quality used one or hold off until a serious need arises.

Thanks for the input guys feel free to recommend some brands, must haves that would be worth investing in as I'm still relatively new to the locksmithing scene ( with lots to learn) and am basically hobbying now with plans to move into the profession when my body tells me no more bloody construction (which isn't too far away judging by the snaps, crackles and pops). :???:
