1934 Chrysler key

I have yet to be able to cut one of these for a customer.Of all the years I've cut keys at old car shows no one has needed one cut.The older motorheads notice the key but haven't bought any. I have sold some on ebay. The key is an Omega, Y16 by Yale & Towne.

I wonder why they made the keyway like that. To be harder to pick?
How does the key insert?
I've seen the blanks before but never any info on the locks.

Its cool can not find the lock or any info on this ! did find a chap that sells them at $5.00 dollars a blank .... at key-men.com !
