Good post Ringo, thanks.
But now I have another lock to add to my "must have" list!

I have one of the locks, but no keys. Will try making a 2-in-1 pick, then a key. The key part has failed me when I tried impressioning. :(

When I first made this guide - I edited it code was infact 345213 so fixed this in new guide
the chubb pick is good but WILL throw bolt all the way - will get stuck in lock at point required for decode
Total height of pick that contacts the bolt should be 0.430 including stem ... so the stump is thrown half way and most important it can be removed after picking to correct point - CENTRE to work on

Here is the key - working I would recommend making the slide or pointer HOBBS never showed a device I have seen
that shows whats going on outside lock in regards to lever contact - great little device for anyone !
chances are you will never see one again ....

Hi guys I have a decoder for the Battleship, and cruiser padlocks. However was having a problem decoding a lock for a guy. I took the lock over to a friend, who has more knowlege than I, he noticed that the keyway height (from bottom of the lock body to key barrel) in the older locks are differant to the newer locks.

Does anyone know if the lever step heights are differant too.?
