Help! Restricted Corbin/Russwin keyway, need to identify.

I was given these 2 Corbin Russwin Assa Abloy locks. I have searched all the manuals and looked at over 100 diff corbin runsswin keyway profiles. I can't find this one anywhere, I fear it's one of the restricted ones they don't show. Anyone help me out? I want to re pin these (they are all even atm) and make some new keys as I only have 1 with what looks like straight 3 cuts.

If anyone knows what key I need, I would be forever in your dept.

BTW: Sorry about the high res pics, but I saw a few keyways that were close, but not the same.
So I hope a real close high res pic will help.

The blue is covering a Do not duplicate stamp I imagine.

Might be from vendor only.

I can't help you with the correct one, but I'll bet you could take an ILCO 1001A2 and dremel one of the grooves and it would work. Won't be as strong of a key, but if it's for your own personal use it should be fine.

It looks like you have a restricted key that you aren't going to be able to get the blanks even if you know what to get. If it's for you then FF is correct in saying go for it and make yourself one. Just remember that if you ever try to make a profit from it the company will get very testy if they find out. Good luck.

The blue pain looks more like nail polish so I assume it was for identification more than to hide a "do not dup". As for the blank, I have a few Russwins which dont accept a D2,3 or 4 leaving me with D1 but I have D1 and those dont fit either so I modded a D1 and it worked, weak yes but for personal fun use its fine.

I thought 1001A1 / 62A1 was also restricted.

You are correct Jeff, all the "62" series blanks are restricted.

I only said for personal use is because the key would be weaker. As far as selling the key for profit. That wouldn't be an issue. If, and I stress IF the key was ever patented, it would have been (I'm guessing) 60 years ago. Just because Corbin doesn't want to sell a blank has no bearing on anybody else making the key. The only reason ILCO doesn't make it is because there was never enough of them in distribution for them to consider making them. It is possible that ILCO used to make them but no longer do.. Anybody have a really old ilco book, or jet, or taylor, or ..even, curtis?

Lol. This is my hobby. I'm not looking to make any money.

These are just very nice cores. I would love to pin them up as challenge locks. But need keys first. There are a few keys that are close such as wr5. It only needs the top ward filed back a touch. I'll look for a few more days, then I guess I'll have to mod another key.

Anyone have an easy entrie for hire?
