Re: Code cutting question

It will have to be done or set manually - shoulder -tip & the machine your using makes a big difference !!!

Example Toyota 8 cut and 10 cut - look to be tip cut at the same point using the blitz 1200 hpc

but are not as the 10 cut key is at least 0.030 over - not flush to vice

The framon again - tip stopped equally - manually set but framons code cut starts from head - a lot to think about

look forward to seeing it finished - much easier to copy a key than code cut if you don't have the experience

even the blanks used - should be checked and can differ

Woodpecker,

Do you have this program available? I would like to get a copy of it. I have just got my key machine from Foley Belsaw and thought this program would be great. Please let me know where I can get it.

Re: Code cutting question

I should note that the Framon 2 machine is on sale for the 50th anniversary, so if you need this sort of thing, you might want to look for one now.
