Re: THE "THANK YOU" THREAD

I'd just like to thank everyone I've gotten to known on here... you're all truly a bunch of crazy fucks. Seriously, you're all awesome. So, thanks to all who helped me when I first started picking (extra thanks to wizwazzle aka awol70 for helping me find my new lurking grounds), anyone who has selflessly sent me stuff (magic... kokomo... farmerfreak) and those of you who just love to dick around in the user chat  . Kokomo especially who has sent me just an unimaginable amount of locks and gives me super raging borderline explosion and/or spontaneous combustion-inducing erections when I open his packages. LOL

THANK YOU ALL... you're all Aces in my book.

happy thanksgiving

Re: THE "THANK YOU" THREAD

THANK YOU to Subsonic1050 and Oldfast! :yep:

Did a mini-trade with Subsonic1050 to try out a few music wire lengths. He sent many more than I begged for. What a good guy. :D Thank you Subsonic1050! That's worthy of a double :hbg: :hbg:

Oldfast has donated the first two prize locks (in their original containers) for the upcoming contest. As extras he threw in an axial lock and medeco (LFIC?) for my picking pleasure. Did I mention the un-pickable magnetic lock? At least I can hang it on the fridge. Very generous! Thank you Oldfast! That also deserves a double :hbg: :hbg:

Sorry I didn't find this thread sooner, but a long overdue thanks to GWiens2001 and JeffMoss26.

Re: THE "THANK YOU" THREAD

Thank you Jeff Moss!

I hope to add pics of these to the "lockslayer" or "what have you picked today" thread soon. Sargent and Schlage filled with security pins. 7 pin Bests, H and L keyway. And of course the challenge lock. How did he know I fear the Yale keyway?

What a day! Part 1

This is a big thank you to ChemicalRobot!

Today I received a heavy box full of locks. Even a little bit more than expected. All of it great stuff. And then there is the Emhart. And the TrioVing. :hbg: :hbg:
But I'll save those for a rainy day. :D

On top of it all he threw a bag labeled "Extra!"

First a Squire and then the largest Master padlock I have seen. It's standing in front a medium flat rate box to give you perspective.

What a day! Part 2

A big thank you to rerun12!

I received a swag bag from rerun12 with a bunch of goodies inside. Check it out:

Is the Wink Haus keyway supposed to look like that?

Excellent! These will be put to good use. I have a Mul-T-Lock and a couple ABUS waiting plus the newest additions to the dimple lock collection.

I'd like to send a huge thanks to JamesOzment1 for sending me my first ever challenge locks. Giving me a box of new toys should keep me occupied for a while. Thanks James!

On that note I'd also like to send thanks out to Elb, Xeo, Mac, Riy, pmaxey83, and everyone else who has made me feel so welcome in the chat room.
Guess yer all stuck with me now! mwuhahahahaha....*cough, cough*

Thank you to Jeff Moss for this trade. TuBar and S&G are something new to me. The S&G also gives me the opportunity to try key making. :hbg: :hbg:

Big thank you to Neilau for considering me to rehome these these two picks from Australia, and very nice they are.

Re: THE "THANK YOU" THREAD

Came home to nice surprise...a heavy box of locks. This thank you goes out to Roger Moore. I believe he operates on KP under the name kingofnc007.

Standard stuff or infused with mischief? Guess I'll have to find out. I'll leave the keys taped up until I've given everything a try.

LAI, Bests and a paperweight, I mean Abloy. Sweet! The Abloy is way above my picking skills. How hard could it be?

Thank you Roger Moore! Lots of good stuff here. :hbg: :hbg:

Re: THE "THANK YOU" THREAD

Wow amazing thread. I cant believe I missed it till now but whats worse is my horrible memory for names so by now I have forgotten names of all the gents that have helped me so I wont be mentioning specific names but a HUGE THANK YOU to each and everyone of you for helped me with tools, locks, pins, knowledge and so much more.

I am very happy that out of the 3 main lock picking forums, this one gave me no problems while login and I was able to become a part of this family. I haven't even tried to fix the login issues with the other sites because I have everything that I will ever needed here. Its a true pleasure to know you all and I am forever thankful!

Re: THE "THANK YOU" THREAD

Thanks to Riyame for the lock and Gordon for playing the middleman.

Nifty 5-pinner with a common keyway we all recognize...
2015-05-14 13.58.13.jpg

This just might be the smoothest lock I've ever felt. Most times you feel the driver pins catch as they pass the pin chambers or the bottom of the keyway but this lock has zero hitch when being rotated.

Thanks!
