President B.H.O. Has recently appointed a Golf Czar (Cost, $180,000.00 / yr.)

Major rule changes in the game of golf became effective September 1, 2012.

This is only a preview as the complete rule book (expect 2700 pages) is still being rewritten as we speak. Here are a few of the changes:

Golfers with handicaps:
- Below 10 will have their green fees increased by 35%.
- Between 11 and 18 will see no increase in green fees.
- Above 18 will get a $20 check each time they play. (Can't wait to see my $$ check)

The term "gimmie" will be changed to "entitlement" and will be used as follows:
- Handicaps below 10, no entitlements.
- Handicaps from 11 to 17, entitlements for putter length putts.
- Handicaps above 18, if your ball is on green, no need to putt, just pick it up.

These entitlements are intended to bring about fairness and, most importantly, equality in scoring.

In addition, a Player will be limited to a maximum of one birdie or six pars in any given 18-hole round.

Any excess must be given to those fellow players who have not yet scored a birdie or par.

Only after all players have received a birdie or par from the player actually making the birdie or par, can that player begin to count his pars and birdies again .

The current USGA handicap system will be used for the above purposes, but the term "net score" will be available only for scoring those players with handicaps of 18 and above.

This is intended to "re-distribute" the success of winning by making sure that in all competitions every Player above an 18 handicap will post only "net score" against every other player's "gross score".

These new Rules are intended to CHANGE the game of golf.

Golf must be about Fairness. It should have nothing to do with ability, hard work, practice, and responsibility.

This is the "Right thing to do."

So, please remember; if you shot a round of golf under par, you didn't shoot it yourself. Some one else built that course, and someone else cut the grass so that you could play on it. Someone else built the clubs and the cart.

You need to share with everyone who made you a successful golfer.

Well thats all good and well, but when those with a handicap below 10 have the ability to reserve the "greens" 88.9% of the time while at the same time pay the lowest percentage of dues for any golfer who pays dues. Those golfers that have a handicap between 11 and 18 so far have been footing the largest percentage of dues for all golfers, some of whom are actually paying a larger amount in dues than golfers with the highest scores. Those that happen to have a handicap greater than 18 account for 47% of all golfers, who don't currently pay any dues, and for many don't actually get access to the greens to play a round. If you took all of the time accessed by those 47% it would equate to less than 2% of reservations for those top 1% of golfers with the lowest handicap around. The 1 percent-ers, we can call them, have struck deals with a lot of the decision makers that control the golf course to guarantee that they get what many would consider an unfair advantage, but that's just my thoughts on these new rules, I'm not much of a golfer myself

Wow... clearly, y'all just parrot the fox news is conservative line... sheesh, they give a couple of so-called conservatives some airtime unlike other networks and suddenly since they actually allow both "sides" to talk they are leaning in the opposite direction of what they actually are? Shit man, WATCH their actual news segments... holy shit, might as well be CNN.

That's right, just pull the woll over your own eyes and drink the kool-aid. It's good for you we promise...

And seriously, if you honestly think that the Republican vs. Democrat is a real rivalry you need to pay closer attention to what is actually DONE vs what is SAID. Especially in the long term and examine the patterns that emerge. They are the SAME TEAM playing their constituency for fools. It is plain and simple the classic two man con.

Just all smoke and mirrors, they do what they all want to do together and in public blather what their sheeples on both "sides" want to hear. If you think otherwise, it is merely cognitive dissonance. Turn off the "they're on my side" and the "I hate them" filters and you'll see it plain as day. But I know you won't, and that's okay, we're all fucked anyway as the so-called "two party system" isn't going to change, and we're going to continue to be sold down the river... Enjoy the ride, don't fall in the water, it's effluvium!

Politics are discouraged in the main forums. It only leads to arguments. But in the Random Banter/General Discussion area, it's allowed.

We have subforums here for topics other than just locks and security-related issues.

If someone wants to talk politics, this subforum is an acceptible place for it.

Hi Mackai, welcome to the forum :)

Are you trolling me here?

Let's for the moment assume you are not just trolling. Let's see... The section it was posted in is called "Random Banter" the guidelines for the section readily visible right below the link to the section on the main forum page says "Post random topics about anything - except porn or spam." This is neither porn, nor spam.

How is it that you have come to believe yourself to be the arbiter of what is appropriate on a forum you just recently registered on? Within your first two posts no less! AT ALL?
What is within your experience that leads you to believe that it is an acceptable course of action to command the admin of a site you just registered to what to do? AT ALL?

I AM the admin of this site and one of the owners as well as being the OP of this thread.

Perhaps you should learn something about a site (maybe even who runs it and possibly even take two seconds to try and figure out what the words "Site Owner" below the name of a user who posted a message means) before you go around telling people how to run their sites and what content is appropriate or not.

Perhaps you should be a productive member of a on online community and familiar with what is considered appropriate before you flap your gums about such matters.

It is generally a highly recommended practice that one might even consider taking the time to think about what one is saying before one posts a response to anything.

And as Riyame said, if this is post is too much for you to handle, then seriously, stay away from the chat, you will not like it there as nearly anything goes there.

Have a wonderful day!
