Mailbox locks?

So I am sure a lot of you have heard that the U.S. Postal Service was in some trouble and was thought to go out of business in late 2011 or sometime in 2012 so if this were to actually happen I was just wondering what you think they would do with all of the mailboxes? Oh and I am talking about the whole one mailbox for a street type thing, not if your mailbox is actually on your lawn. The reason I am wondering is because I would love to have a few mailbox locks to mess around with and there is no way for me to pick them right now so I was just thinking that if they go to take the mailboxes away do you think they would let me have one or do you think they would just destroy them?

We sell National brand mail box locks at our shop. I'm sure you could get a mailbox lock at your local shop. Just tell them you need a mailbox lock, they will probably ask you what kind etc and sell you one. I think we sell them for around $15.

It might be easy but hey, it's a bunch of free locks so I am not losing anything and I will still have a bit of fun just because that's just how lock picking is.
