What lock is this
Posted: Thu Apr 22, 2010 10:38 pmA friend of mine saw this lock in a flea market and bought it for me. Anyone have any info on it? It say's Germany on the top of the shackle.

Emo emu! LOL... hopefully noone blew an emu... (those commercials for Blue Emu trip me out... It's just a weird ass name... who want's to blow an emu?? I mean really? WTF man!)

I agree. Looking at page 69 of "The Padlock Collector", Sixth Edition by Franklin M. Arnall, it shows what appears to be the identical lock.
It's identified as "Clark Combination Lock Co. Patd Feb 29, 1876, with size as 2.25" and a value of $425.00
I would imagine that value is subjective and based on pristine condition.
